Our
Story
We have grown to be a community of cyclists that enjoy the shared experience. We are young & old; we are novice to experienced; we are social, competitive and everything in between. MNCC is for us all.
Mission North Cycling Club (MNCC) is a 501c3 non-profit corporation. This journey began in 2017 with the Cloquet-Esko-Carlton Cycling Team (CEC MTB) in the Minnesota State High School League (MHSCL) and the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA). Since then, the CEC MTB Board of Directors has been hard at work preparing us for the future as we continue to experience exponential growth in student athlete numbers on our team in, what is now, the Minnesota Cycling Association (MCA). 2022 marks the first year of our new Hermantown-Proctor team (HPC MTB). With two MCA cycling teams and growing interest from cyclists of all ages, we have become a strong cycling community and there are many ways we can enjoy cycling beyond the MCA. The Mission North Cycling Club has been born to include everyone, year-round.
How to become a "member?"
Instead of memberships -- we want people that want to contribute to and be a part of something meaningful. Instead of dues -- buy a jersey, buy some swag or make a donation. We want people to feel a sense of belonging and enjoy shared experiences with others in a positive and supportive way. To be a member, rally around our stated purpose and maintain a culture of positivity, encouragement, and kindness. Come ride with us!

OUR MISSION

To promote the activity of bicycling within Northern Minnesota to unite diverse individuals and groups, empower youth, and build a strong cycling community;
-
To develop and support young athletes and coaches in the Minnesota High School Cycling League, a local chapter of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA);
-
To reduce barriers to the participation in pursuit of cycling; and
